Monzerrat Alvarez, who goes by Monze, has a sweet and simple nickname. She’s a senior at Granite Hills High School who’s ready to graduate this year. She likes going for walks, but she’s more of an indoor person. Alvarez was born in Porterville and has lived there her whole life. Like any other person, Alvarez enjoys herself a sweet treat with cake being her favorite food.

Alvarez is a member of two clubs – Girls Who Code and PAW – a sweet and fun-loving club that’s about animals. Alvarez enjoys her Starbucks with her favorite drink being a frappuccino. Her favorite genre of music is rock. Her favorite artist is Led Zeppelin, which is known for playing hard rock and heavy metal.

Alvarez is a member of the Law, Justice, and Ethics Pathway at Granite Hills. Her favorite subject is English, which makes sense because some of her passions include reading classic literature. Her favorite book at the moment is Dark Diaries. Alvarez is excited about being a senior because that means graduation is right around the corner.
