Mia Nunez is a 17-year-old senior at Granite Hills High School. She is not the ordinary girl; she’s always on the go. From being an ambassador for Porterville Unified School District’s pathways to putting on a show for folklorico, she juggles school life and home life well. While her home life is much more relaxed, she does daily activities like going on her afternoon walks and doing her makeup.

Nunez is a very involved student. She is in the CODE Pathway. She’s also in Mental Health Club, helping organize activities during lunch and promoting mental health awareness around campus. Nunez dedicates lots of her time to her community always helping others, whether it’s putting on a show, entertaining for her local community in festivals, or volunteering to teach kids about STEM. This is what makes Mia a kind-hearted, friendly, and well-rounded student.
