Aleena Alvarado is a 16-year-old junior at Granite Hills High School. Alvarado is a cheer captain for the 2025-26 Granite Hills Cheer Team. She is also a member of the AVID program. She began her cheerleading career as a three-year-old accompanying her older sister to her cheer camps. Some of Alvarado’s strengths are that she’s a fast learner, and when work needs to get done, she is right on it.

Alvarado’s dream is to attend UCLA or NYU, hoping to major in Law. Before settling down, one of Alvarado’s life goals is to own her own car; she also wants to be a homeowner. Her goal as a journalist is she wishes to improve her writing and learn more about her fellow Grizzlies.
