On the lookout for a new place to try? Flaming Chicken, an affordable palatable place that recently opened at 12 S. Main Street, which opens as early as 10 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m., offers tempting chicken in different preparations.
This new eatery serves four different savory spice levels and eight different meals to choose from. Not sure to go with their classic or fiery flavors? Their straightforward arrangement helps customers of all spice tolerance decide what to have rapidly and effortlessly.
The price ranges from $10 to about $20 per person, their portions are shareable and come out freshly made. They offer a dine-in option, a to-go option, and are even teamed up with DoorDash for customers who don’t wish to leave the comfort of their home.
When entering Flaming Chicken, the vibe can not be ignored. With trendy music playing through the speakers and vibrant graffiti on the walls, feeling relaxed while having a great meal on the table is an understatement.
When it comes down to the taste of their food, Flaming Chicken does an astonishing job at getting the flavor to become a new favorite. With an obvious tang of cayenne pepper and smoked paprika sprinkled on the chicken and fires, it leaves the perfect spicy taste on the customer’s tongue.
A part of the chicken sandwiches they serve that also needs some spotlight, is the pickles that join them. The pickles served are not the same as other chicken places since they actually taste fresh and have the perfect hint of dill.
Although lots of appreciable points can be made about the recently developed restaurant, it does not mean it is perfect. Even though it is known Flaming Chicken replaced another restaurant that was there before and isn’t able to add more space due to being connected to other stores, it would be nice if the place added a few more tables at the back. While being seated, it was quick to notice how full the location can get in such little time.
Even though the chicken was exceedingly enjoyable, a part of their menu that may need a few updates is their macaroni and cheese. “The mac and cheese could have been thicker,” said a customer trying their food for the first time. “… The sauce is a little bit too watery for my taste, but it has a good flavor when mixed with their chicken.”
Everyone’s taste buds are different, so the only way to know if Flaming Chicken could be a new favorite is to come down and give it a taste.
