October 1is International Coffee Day which allows coffee enthusiasts to celebrate their affection for the beverage and express solidarity with the millions of farmers whose livelihoods are tied to this bitter crop. International Coffee Day commemorates the high-quality, diverse, and passionate coffee industry.
To start celebrating International Coffee Day, I asked ten students and teachers of Granite Hills High School for their go-to orders of any coffee place of their choice. Enjoy!
Kendall Miller expresses her love for the Iced Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks.
Julissa Lopez prefers an Iced White Mocha with sweet foam also from Starbucks.
Sergio Baez orders a Picture Perfect coffee from Dutch Bros.
Mr. Flores loves ordering a Protein Latte from Dutch Bros as well.
Abril Soltero orders from Dutch Bros too but gets a blended Tigers Eyes.
Mr. Kasimoff usually makes an espresso at home or orders one from a coffee shop.
Jackelyn Gomez orders a chai latte called White Zombie with sweet foam from Dutch Bros.
Mr. Nickell orders an Americano with cream and hazelnut from anywhere and, occasionally puts cinnamon on top.
Sylvia Lopez uses a percolator to make coffee at home and uses cinnamon sticks and puts one spoonful of sugar.
Ava Angco orders a Snickerdoodle Latte from Java Express.
As you can see, coffee is loved and enjoyed by many people on campus. Please comment and share your favorite cup of coffee.
