The 2025-26 Granite Hills High School year is underway. The school year started with seniors getting the opportunity to display their artistic abilities and personalities through their senior jeans. Seniors also woke up bright and early for their Senior Sunrise event. This is just the beginning of many memories that will be created through graduation.

Jose Navarro is a 16-year-old senior staff writer at Granite Hills High School. He is the ASB president, an award-winning second-year band drum major, a varsity player on the boys tennis team, a link commissioner, and a Project Aware youth leader. He is a very involved student at Granite Hills High School who is eager to help others. He has a passion for making others feel welcome.
Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, spending time with friends, and being online constantly. #tiktok @theyknowjosee (go follow). In the future, Jose plans on attending a four-year college and then medical school to become a pediatric oncologist. Fun fact: Jose can play 15+ instruments.
