The Cave is once again open for business.
Students can now visit the Granite Hills High School Cave during brunch, lunch, and after school when they are craving something sweet or just need a little snack to get through the day.
Our Grizzly ASB has been working on evolving and creating a better menu for our Grizzlies with a couple new items already added – such as strawberry ice cream – which will be great to have on those warm and sunny days.
At The Cave, students can also find Granite Hills merchandise that ranges from $10 to $25.
“I’m excited to start buying from the cave again,” Granite Hills student Anthony Alcantar Gutierrez said. “I normally go buy a Gatorade and a granola bar and have them just in case I’m hungry or I need a snack.”
Students don’t need to wander far to look for the new location. The cave is located just around the corner of the previous location.
Why the move mid-year?
“It allows ASB to be able to store more items for students to purchase and with two windows it will help with better efficiency,” ASB advisor Ms. Lozano said. “We are also moving back to our old roots of The Cave. It also allows our ASB students to practice job skills that’ll help them in the future.”
Many previous menu items will remain, including Gatorade, Powerade, Capri Sun, slushies, Fruit Roll-ups, Sour Patch candy, granola bars, popcorn, and Maruchan.
