Rev up those fryers! We tried the new Krabby Patty meal from Wendy’s

The Krabby Patty meal in all it’s glory

Unless you’ve been living in a pineapple under the sea, you’ve probably heard that the Krabby Patty is coming to Wendy’s. After the great amount of hype surrounding the new collab coming to Wendy’s restaurants around the country; we decided to review the new meal.

Consisting of a cheeseburger, fries, and a vanilla frosty with pineapple syrup at the bottom, this will fill your stomach up. For the price of about $10, you can buy yourself a meal as well.

If you’re interested in coming to your nearest Wendy’s location, it is worth noting that the customer service was a bit slow. We even had to wait in front of the restaurant after being told to wait in the drive-through.

Getting to the juicy part, the meal overall tasted great. The flavors that came with the burger were pretty bold. The burger did come with a lot of sauce. In fact, it was dripping down from the burger as we consumed it.

The presentation of the burger was fine, although we did order to-go. The burger was perfectly shiny and smooth. You could also see the cheese melting on the sides of the burger on top and bottom of the square patty included.

The meal also comes with a pack of stickers if you’re into that sort of thing.

For the grand price of $10.69, this meal could be yours. I would say that this meal is a fair and reasonable price to purchase. Considering the average prices for a regular meal at Wendy’s, this meal is a pretty good bang for your buck. You can also buy the burger itself for about $5.

Now, for the final review, I give the new Krabby Patty Kollab meal a 7 out of 10. I believe the meal would have been better with an actual drink rather than a frosty. It would have also helped if the fries were salted a bit better and if the burger wasn’t as messy as it was.

I also asked other people what they thought of this delicious meal. Here they are:

Noe Campos: I kind of expected more, so I kind of ruined it. But overall it’s a 7 out of 10.

Karla Mendoza: I rate the meal a 5 out of 10. I was kinda bummed out because the flavor was really dry and also because there were no sesame seeds on the bun. So it didn’t really fit the theme.

Jose Nava looking at the Krabby Patty: It really tasted like In-n-Out Burger. But overall I give it a 7 out of 10. They lost 3 points because there was no toy.

Esmeralda Ceballos: I give the Krabby Patty meal a 6 out of 10. Wendy’s isn’t my favorite place and the burger should have had more sauce. It was really dry.

Alex David Vargas is a senior at Granite Hills High School. Vargas is the senior class representative and former freshman class vice president. He does it all, waking up every morning to attend school, participating in school events with the Granite Hills ASB class, and going to work. Alex hopes to attend the University of California Santa Barbara after graduating where he hopes to continue to grow as a person. Noe Campos is a senior at Granite Hills High School. He is the senior class president, ASB vice president, a pathway ambassador for the CODE pathway, a yearbook staff member, and a member of the tennis team. He has come a long way from the beginning of high school from not being involved to making the most of his time at Granite Hills. Being involved in different things in his school has allowed him to improve himself academically and personally. His future plans after high school are to attend UC Santa Barbara. He’s looking at majoring in computer science or design. He’s a hard-working student who only strives to do what he can to better himself. He joined the journalism class to expand his interest in the things that he loves doing the most. His current interests are playing video games, going to the gym, playing tennis, and listening to music. His favorite artist of all time is Faye Webster. He loves watching superhero movies and his favorite superhero is Spider-Man. He loves spending time with his family, friends, and dogs. But what he loves doing the most is making his father proud. The quote he loves at the moment is “Work in Silence, Let Your Success be the Noise.”
